Hello World (& fellow book lovers!)

Hello fellow book lovers! My name is Kel, and this is my first post on my new book blog! This blog is going to be mostly about PNR, UF, Fantasy, and Sci-Fi books and topics. As a new librarian, I started blogging about YA books last year as part of a class project. In my “adult life” I actually read a ton of Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Fantasy, and Science Fiction. This month I’ve been in a real reading slump (always a bummer!) and I’ve been diving through a bunch of blogs to find some new reading recommendations. All of these wonderful blogs have inspired me to join the conversation with a new blog of my very own. I’m pretty excited about it!

A little about me….

  1. Welcome! I like your favourite books/authors list, I’m also a fan of Juliet Marillier, Nalini Singh, Anne Bishop and Jeaniene Frost. And I’ve been meaning to read Warprize for a while now as I’ve heard good things, so I’m glad to see you recommend it too – now I just have to get my act together and finally read it 🙂

    • I’ve only tried her Dark series so far. It comes so highly recommended but I couldn’t get through the first book. Something about it just didn’t appeal. But maybe I should give a different series a try?
